Wild Ganoderma Lucidum(Ling Zhi)

Ganoderma Lucidum have been known as Reishi Mushroom (in Japanese) Ling Zhi (in Chinese) & Yeongji (in Korean) and have been use as a longest historical usage traditional chinese medician for the treatment of various diseases and related health problem for more than 4,000 years (Zhao and Zeuny, 1994)

Ganoderma Lucidum listed in the American Herbal Pharmacopoeia and Therapeutic Compendium for its presumed health benefits and apparent absence of side-effects.As a result of large number of scientific studies especially in Japan, China & Korea, over the past three decades Ganoderma Lucidum have been examined & confirmed a important health medician.

Ganoderma Lucidum has been drawn to various immunological & anti-cancer properties that this mushroom also important therapeutic propeties including antioxidants, anti-hypertensive, clolesterol-lowering, liver protection, anti-fibrotic, anti-inflammatory, aniti-diabetic, anti-viral, anti-microbial, insomia, hepatitis, asthma & gastric ulcers. The therapeutical action of Ganoderma Lucidum as an anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory agent has been associated with its immuno-modulation properties (Wang et al., 1977). Purified bioactive compounds derived from medical mushroom are a potentially important new source of anticancer agents; their assimilation into western drug discovery programs & clinical trials also provides a framework for the study and use of other traditional medicines.
